Back in 2018 I was asked to photograph a joint 50th birthday party of the owner of the aviation parts company I worked for - in the run up to the event I mentioned that I hoped to get into aerial photography using a drone and he agreed to purchase a company drone in order to use it for the party - The drone was a Phantom 3 Standard and it was certainly a step up from the drone I had been using previously which was unable to fly outside it was so light - the more I flew it the more interested I was in the world of UAS and it gave me a thirst for more. After 6 months or so using the Phantom I decided to purchase a Mavic Air in 2019, this was such an incredible piece of technology and in such a small package - It's always very deceiving how small it is compared the the images and video it can produce. This is the drone I use currently and it has really come into it's own since the EASA UAS regulations have been brought in as of 31st December 2020 allowing me with my A2 CofC to operate in places larger drones cannot without additional authorisations.
I would love to speak to you to discuss your requirements wherever they may fall in the world of aerial photography / videography so please feel free to get in touch.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Lee Andrews, General Manager - MSGC
“Steve has done a first class video for our website. From start to finish we chatted through what was required and left him to his own devices to come up with something we can use not only on our website but also social media. We have further plans to run more videos on specific areas such the golf shop and wedding & functions. Steve is so easy to deal with and meets all the needs you require”
